Tankless 95 water heaters provides all the hot water you’ll ever need for 2 – 3 bathroom homes or more. Rheem tankless gas water heaters offer you the perfect solution to heat your water at home. Imagine never running out of hot water again. Rheem provides to you innovative, new tankless products that provide a contionous supply of hot water from energy efficient and space saving design units.

Features: ALL THE HOT WATER YOU’LL EVER NEED: when you need it. It’s that simple. The popularity of oversize tubs is growing, and so is the demand for large volumes of low-cost hot water. The Rheem Tankless provides a compact solution for a continuous supply of energy-efficient hot water that won’t run out. ENERGY-EFFICIENT DESIGN: low-cost operation. Why keep 40-50 gallons of water hot when you don’t need it? It’s expensive to continue to heat and re-heat water when you’re not home or not using it. Rheem’s tankless design offers convenience without the high cost of keeping water hot. COMPACT SIZE: good things do come in small packages. Rheem Tankless is about one third the size of a conventional water heater. Sophisticated technology has reduced the size and increased the features and benefits. A digital display makes setting a precise water temperature, or monitoring the unit’s status, a snap! Its compact size will leave room for a water softener or extra storage. PRECISE TEMPERATURE CONTROL: many user and installer-friendly features make the Rheem Tankless the easiest tankless water heater to own. The digital display makes it simple to set the water temperature. Simply set the desired temperature and walk away. Because the water is heated only when it is needed, the outgoing water temperature remains constant. SELF-DIAGNOSTIC: should maintenance be required, the unit’s self-diagnostic system will display a maintenance code.

no worries about enough hot water, December 15, 2010

This review is from: Rheem RTG-95DVN Direct Vent Indoor Series Natural Gas Tankless Water Heater, 9.5 GPM (Tools & Hardware)

My traditional tank heater was on its last leg, and I knew it would need to be replaced. I had been looking into tankless models for while. After considering multiple brands with comparable maximum flow rates, I bought the Rheem RTG-95DVN. Key reasons I settled on this model? It had among the lowest minimum activation flow rates, which seems to prevent the so-called cold water sandwich I’ve heard people complain about. I’ve done everything I can think of to force this “cold sandwich” to happen, and it just won’t seem to happen with this particular tankless model, which is just fine by me. Also, this model does not require the expensive adapter almost all other models require to connect the unit to the stainless steel concentric vent piping.

Installation costs aside, I love this new water heater. For good measure, I had the installer set the thermostat at 130 (10 degrees above the factory setting). For the first time in a long time I do not have to worry about running out of hot water. The water is more than hot enough, even with at least one major appliance pulling hot water at the same time the shower is going. We have not yet exceeded its ability to produce hot water for multiple outlets.

And yes, I also love having the extra room for storage that the traditional hot water heater occupied.
